This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!

For VW Geeks only
Journal Entry: Wed Nov 18, 2009, 4:47 AM
Just put a deposit on a car only a true VW geek could appreciate. If you are one read on in envy, if you aren't you prolly won't understand.
Here in the US the Golf is considered an econobox, or entry level vehicle. I know in Europe it's considered an upscale full size car, but here it's the bottom of the VW line.
So the 2010 Golf TDI I just bought is obviously the work of a madman (probably named Peitz). It started life as a plain old Golf. But then VW shoved the suspension from a GTI underneath it, put GTI sport seats in the interior, and crammed the Turbo-Diesel engine from a Jetta under the hood mated to a 6 speed manual tranny. Then to cover up the Diesel ping and turbo whine they put in a 300 Watt custom designed sound system with Dyn-Audio speakers and VW's latest touch screen head unit (drool). Not done yet VW added built-in Bluetooth, steering wheel controls (for the stereo and Bluetooth), Xenon headlamps, power sunroof, 10 spoke allow wheels, yada, yada, yada. Oh, and it gets 41 MPG on the highway but leaves the line like a raped jackrabbit (tons of torque!)
But it still looks like a plain old Golf (except for the alloy wheels and TDI badge). Talk about a sweet sleeper!
I'l be taking delivery in a day or two and will post pictures - though the coolest thing about this car is that it isn't really much to look at - all the good stuff is hidden inside until you bring it out to play in traffic...
